Howdy, born and raised right here in Fort Worth, I've proudly served my fellow locals for all of their hair needs for the past 20 + years. My goal is to make each and every client feel their absolute best. From a fresh new cut, stunning blowout, bold or blended highlights, balyage, vibrant fashion colors to a color retouch and all over color. I've got you covered. The first few years of my career were spent trying to find my place in the industry I went from Fort Worth to Colleyville before finding my nitch returning to Fort Worth and joining the team at Shelton's Salon and Day Spa where I spent the next 15 years of my career learning from stylists with 40 + years of experience and working for an amazing company that had 57 years in the business. Thanks to Shelton's, I was given the best education one could ever hope for. With private classes for our salon by the best hairdressers in the industry. Stylists like Jeff Martin, Sonya Dove, Christopher Dove, John Simpson, Aubrey Loots, Joshua Wagner, and many more. In 2020 when the doors closed for the final time at Shelton's Salon, with years of being a trainer at Shelton's for new new and incoming stylists and armed with an education one could only dream of I went on to open my own salon suite in October of 2020. Fort Worth Hair By Amy K is located at Salons of Volterra Montserrat in West Fort Worth. Right outside the posh neighborhoods, Montserrat and Montrachet.
